Story behind,
After completed 4 academic years,
where I was taught Textile Engineering in whiteboard and teacher’s notes, I
have started my professional career in the industry in the year 2011.
Found the learning and working is a
reflection of the story of Six Blind Men and the Elephant. Bookish knowledge is
far different from academics. Though its correct conception is scattered with
reality. The factory has a chance to learn more and exact view of Engineering.
For example, in academic year I learn
so many calculations but how to execute and implement in the field understand
in the factory shop. So many points have confusion just memorize in the classroom
but have the clarity in the job.
It is feeling that when you will start
your career in an industry you will face some sort of issues. In the industry,
you need to faster learn your responsibility besides your assigned Job.
For me when I started my job, I found
I am only concentrating to discover my department but it should be you need to
gather some sort of clear understanding of the basic roles of the peer
department. You need to explore, think out of the box, faster learn from the
mistake, root cause analysis and think solution with possible alternatives. I
need you to enjoy your work and work smart and hard. So that faster you feel in
a comfortable position to execute your task.
It took some time to understand as a
beginning I was always felt uncomfortable to meet with another department,
later it makes uncomfortable to me when I ask something to do which involve
with another department.
I join in PPC (Production Planning and
Controlling Department but the maximum I need to work with Production, Merchandising,
Quality industrial engineering department. Details are not mandatory but basic
is required to grow in you.
In my academic not very much concern
very basic computer skills like making Powerpoint, MS word or excel docs. How
to write a CV, basics of emailing which I found is fundamental at this
scientific age.
This is some points initiate to start
this Garments Clothing Coaching so that I can share my little learning and
guide you when you started to study Clothing/Textile manufacturing to you are
waiting for your Job.
